ABOUT

Glam Beckett is an independent artist working in drawing and digital media. Her monochrome practice centres on detailed black-and-white compositions, exploring  themes of sadness, ennui, and nostalgia, often infused with dark romanticism and subtle erotic overtones. Her imagery reflects an ongoing interest in emotional states, intimacy, and the quiet tension between vulnerability and distance. Beckett explores the aesthetics of melancholy not merely as sadness, but as a complex experience where pain and pleasure coexist. By navigating this duality, her work seeks a unique dimension where negative and positive affects alternate, transforming emotional weight into visual poetry.
